Everything about vverh lives in Telegram: the bot, your account and payments. On iPhone you’ll need one more app, Happ. That’s what your phone uses to connect to our servers. Happ is free, and the vverh subscription goes into it with a single tap.
what you need
- An iPhone or iPad. The steps are the same.
- Telegram, to open the bot.
- A couple of minutes. No card needed: the first 3 days are free.
steps
- Open the bot @vverhvpn_bot and tap “Start”. Your 3-day trial turns on by itself.
- Open the vverh app with the button under the bot’s message, go to the “connect” tab and pick iPhone. Happ is first on the list, and it’s the one we recommend.
- Install Happ. There are two buttons, pick the one that matches your Apple ID. With a non-Russian Apple ID, Happ comes from the App Store. With a Russian one, it comes through TestFlight, Apple’s official app testing platform. TestFlight is free too.
- Tap “add to Happ”. Happ opens and the vverh subscription appears in it with a list of servers.
- Pick a country and tap the power button. The first time, iPhone asks whether it can add a VPN configuration. Allow it and confirm with your passcode or Face ID.
how to tell it’s working
A VPN badge shows up in the status bar, and in the vverh app, on the “devices” tab, your iPhone shows as online. From then on, you turn the VPN on and off in Happ with one button. Happ keeps your subscription term and server list up to date on its own.
if the “add” button didn’t work
Sometimes iPhone won’t open Happ from the button. Then add the subscription by hand:
- In the vverh app, tap “copy key”.
- In Happ, tap + at the top and choose paste from clipboard.
The subscription shows up exactly as it would from the button.
your partner’s, parent’s or kid’s iPhone
The second phone doesn’t need Telegram. On your phone, open the “connect” tab, pick iPhone and tap “show QR for iPhone”. Point the second phone’s camera at the code: a page opens with an “add to Happ” button. The new phone takes a free slot in your subscription automatically. other apps
We recommend Happ, but you don’t have to use it. The steps also cover:
- Shadowrocket. Paid, 249 ₽ in the App Store, a long-standing favorite. Add the subscription with the button or via +, type Subscribe.
- Clash Mi and Incy. Free, available in the Russian App Store.

questions
how many iPhones can I connect?
The 199 ₽ a month subscription includes 2 phones and a computer. Each extra phone is 39 ₽ a month. An iPad counts as a phone.
do I need to keep Happ open?
No. The VPN runs in the background as long as the switch is on. You can swipe Happ away.
the VPN is on but nothing loads
Go through the VPN isn’t working: what to check. Most of the time, refreshing the subscription in Happ with the 🔄 button or picking another server does the trick.
